I'll be honest. I was excited about the return of "The Handmaid's Tale," but it's been so long that I forgot most of what happened in the past 5 seasons. And I thank GOD for that, because this shit is cutting a little too close to home right now. Very interesting stat to consider - the average adult walks 913 miles per year. They also drink 556 glasses (27.8 gallons) of wine per year. That's 33 miles to the gallon. Not bad. Not bad at all.

I drank a Coca-Cola from a bottle the other day. A real Coke - not Zero or diet or whatever. Then I ordered another fountain Coca-Cola from Chik-Fil-A. I know that they are the same drink. I used to work for the company. But I'm telling you, the difference between a bottle, can and fountain Coke is palpable and very real.

If you see a spelling error in a friend's post, but it's not a good friend, is it cool to drop them a text and let them know or is that douchey?

One of the kids I work with is a huge Swiftie. We were listening to "Sweet Nothings" the other day. A colleague told me that a kid she went to school with back in the day completely misunderstood the concept of "sweet nothings," and he used to go around LITERALLY whispering "SWEET NOTHINGS" in all the girl's ears. This made me laugh uncontrollably.

Speaking of, I love how much thought elementary school teachers put into their outfits. They always look so adorable and respectable. I. on the other hand, work in a middle school, so cute outfits are not even a remote thought. My biggest decision in the morning is whether or not I leave my hair down, and risk getting nasty shit in it, or putting it in a pony or a bun and looking like a school marm.

Every time I hear a song from the 80s, it reminds me that I would be Goddamned GENIUS if life could be set to music. Like, there is no lyric I forget. But ask me what I was just about to ask you, and I am totally blank.

Tuesday was a complete shitshow. And then Wednesday was even worse. So, I'm like, seriously? You got me through that shit just to endure hump day?

If you have a computer that has a little extra calculator keyboard to the right, do you ask yourself why they put the number lock next to the backspace key? I am constantly hitting one or the other, but I never know which, until I try to type in a number, and the damn calculator keyboard thingy doesn't work, because I just turned off the number lock.

I took some time off from wine, mainly because it is traditionally very sugary. But my rediscovery made me ask the question - why is everyone so anti-sugar? I mean, who was there when you were sad? Was it a head of lettuce? I think not!

I love that my feed is filled with Reels about "The White Lotus." For those of you who are not on board with that series, what are you waiting for? Just do it. But this week, instead of making a drink from a dirty blender, why not try a Handmaid's Cock-tale? Sorry, this little cup couture made me giggle!
