Today, I am wearing pink to honor the people like me who forgot to separate their reds from their whites. Hope this week's Deep Thoughts Thursday with The Boozy Weathergirl has you tickled pink.

I hate it when people ask me if I did anything exciting over the weekend. People, I'm old. I didn't jump out of a plane. I shopped, did laundry, ate, drank and napped.

Just be yourself, they said. So, I did. And now, I have to apologize.

I do all my own stunts. They are just never intentional.

When I was young, I never understood all the adults in my life saying, "If it ain't one thing, it's another." Well, now that I am no longer young, I can definitely confirm that if it ain't one thing it IS another.

I started a business building yachts in my attic. Sails are going through the roof!

I am helping do some touch up in a home before it's listed. I went to Home Depot the other day, and I can honestly say that I have never tried to pronounce the letter "L" as hard as I did when I asked where I could find the caulk.

Some people suggest that you walk a mile in their shoes. Don't do that if they are mine. You'll end up drunk, lost and looking for your shoes.

I thought up a new little game the other day like the ones I see online. This one comes up with your alcoholic name. Just use your first name plus your last name. Bam!

It really makes you think twice about how much shit you keep on the back of your toilet tank when the thing won't stop running.

This week's word ship - Shituation. Think of it as when you're listening to someone drone on and on about some stupid thing they've done, not letting you get word in edgewise, so all you can do is keep sipping and pouring. When they decide to take a breath, you blurt out, "It seems like you got yourself a shituation here!"

I really need some food recipes rather than more drink recipes. Anyone who wants to drop me some quick dinner ideas, feel free. In the meantime, summer is not over yet, and this pinkity drinkity looks delish. So, make it.
