January was a tough year, folks! But we made it! Here's hoping this week's Deep Thoughts Thursday with The Boozy Weathergirl is a little easier to get through.
1
I'd like to make one thing clear - I do think women can do absolutely anything. Me, specifically, I would just like to do nothing.
2
I think forcing people to be quiet in a library is genius and critical. I also think society needs to work on mapping out more places where people are not allowed to talk.
3
Maturing in my marriage is realizing that my husband will never tire of me. How do I know this? He's been cheering for the same football team since he was in grammar school, and he still believes that THIS is gonna be their year.
4
I have been peer pressured more in midlife to drink water and eat proteins than I was to take drugs in my teens.
5
I read a critique of Jim Morrison that was not exactly positive. And I thought to myself, "It's rude to go around slamming The Doors."
6
Today's life tip - do not wear headphones while vacuuming. I was on the last carpet when I realized the vacuum was not plugged in.
7
I love that I screenshot everything, can never find anything I've saved and keep wondering why I have no storage!
8
No one tells a bigger lie than a mom who says, "we'll see." Girl knows full well that we ain't got nothin' to see about nothin'.
9
My gut is never wrong. It might hang over my pants a little, but that chick knows exactly what's going on.
10
I would like to happily announce to everyone that I am retired - I was tired yesterday, and I am tired again today.
I miss the days when life was simpler, and I had to wait until Super Bowl Sunday to see all the ads during the game. I'm making things Super (see what I did there?) simple for you this week. Take a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc (Australian or New Zealand brands always preferred) and add a splash of grapefruit juice to it. If you like Sauvi B, it will change your life.
Sauvi B for me
