I am so ready for this school year to be done. If it already is for you, don't rub it in. Just read this week's Deep Thoughts Thursday with The Boozy Weathergirl and hope that I will be a more pleasant, positive person next week.

Really, what is the point of voice texting? How is it helpful if I have to correct every damn thing it types out incorrectly? It's like I need a translator for the apparent box of rocks in my mouth when I speak.

Why are chip bags so damn loud? Like, how I am supposed to sneak snacks if my neighbors three houses down can hear me rattling through them?

Why is it that I only have to sneeze when my bladder is full?

The other day, I drove by a YARD SIGN for a pre-K graduate. Seriously? Oh, how this kid is going to suffer a lifetime of disappointment with this much fanfare at age 5.

You know what's worse than a hangover? Going on a field trip with eighth graders and acting like you are their age. I am still recovering from that amusement park.

Is there like a full moon for dead animals? Because I have seen more roadkill in the past couple of weeks than I have seen in my whole life. Or maybe there have just been cuts made to the Department of Carcass Cleaners?

I think my husband finally understands this part of my personality after nearly 30 years together - I go from, "We need to save money!" to "We only live once!" in a matter of minutes. Keeps him on his toes trying to figure out which one I'll be at which time!

I heard about this hen who could count her own eggs. She was a MATHEMACHICKEN.

I have a lot of friends with twins. Do the twins ever realize that one of them was unplanned?

My parting thought for the week - Children in the back seat cause accidents. Accidents in the back seat cause children. Ask my mom.
