Folks, I can't be held responsible for anything I say when I'm drunk or hungry or tired or alive. So, I am definitely not responsible for whether or not you enjoy this week's Deep Thoughts Thursday with The Boozy Weathergirl.
1
I like to think of my husband's memory as storage - 500GB of sports stats, 1TB of useless facts, "Cannot Locate File" when asked to recall what I just said 5 minutes ago.
2
Have you ever been talking to someone and thought, this might not be the dumbest person in the world, but for his/her sake, I really hope the dumbest person doesn't die soon?
3
I was searching online to find a way to downgrade my subscription to adulthood. I'm specifically looking for the Snacks & Naps Only option.
4
When I am sharing nachos, just know that I am always thinking at least three nacho moves ahead of my opponent(s).
5
It's so weird that I am 53, but I sometimes feel like I'm 23, until I talk to someone who is 23, then I feel like I am 80.
6
I saw Chik-Fil-A chicken described as "chicken that tastes like it grew up in a nice neighborhood with both parents present," and that resonated with me.
7
If you're having a bad day, just remember at least you are not allergic to wine or dogs.
8
Best post from a teacher this week - my favorite part of working on report cards is finally getting around to cleaning my house.
9
My favorite genre of writing is murder mysteries. So, I thought to myself, if I pretended to be erasing evidence of a murder when I clean my house, it would be so much more satisfying.
10
I figured out my toxic trait. It's testing to see if the foods that I know upset my stomach will upset my stomach again this time...
This week, someone generously donated a few bottles of Moscato to The Gina Fund. Never one to turn down free liquor, I knew I would have to find a crafty way to incorporate this sweet treat into something I might actually drink. Enter sangria - the best dump-all-the-shit-you're-trying-to-get-rid-of-in-your-fridge kinda concoction. And, I'll tell ya, it did not disappoint! So, try it. You'll like it!
